Wicks visits British American Racing (B.A.R)
Formula 1 team at the United States Grand Prix

Russ Wicks attended the United States Grand Prix in Indianapolis on June 18-20 as a guest of the Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda Formula 1 team.   He met B.A.R drivers Jenson Button and Takuma Sato, and Guido Piedade treated Wicks to an extensive tour of the teams garage.

Wicks also spent some time with Team Principal, David Richards, and Group Managing Director, Nick Fry, regarding the adoption of Formula 1 technology into the American Challenge project.   "As the pinnacle of motorsports, the technology in Formula 1 is constantly evolving," Wicks said.   "The B.A.R team provides a perfect example of how to maximize the engineering process while utilizing the latest technology."

American Challenge is comprised of a consortium of successful business leaders, innovative technical engineers, and motorsport professionals.   They are focused on returning the outright world water speed record - which currently stands to Australian Ken Warby at 317.596 mph - to the United States.
