In order for Russ Wicks to receive his unlimited hydroplane competition license, he needs to complete a total of 15 laps at speeds of 130 mph or higher during a race weekend.   In Evansville, Indiana, Wicks drove the Miss Freei unlimited hydroplane on the Ohio River to complete his first laps towards becoming a fully qualified unlimited driver.
