Wicks receives Outstand Achievement Award

St. Louis (February 2, 2001) - Russ Wicks, the World's fastest driver of a propeller-driven boat received an "Outstanding Achievement" award at the 36th Annual Hydro-Prop Awards Banquet.   In addition to breaking a 38 year old World Speed Record, Wicks also qualified as an unlimited hydroplane driver in Bernie Little's legendary Miss Budweiser.

The black tie event was held under the shadow of the Gateway Arch at the elegant Adam's Mark Hotel.
